Candlemas was yesterday (but crepes day is everyday). Check out our recipe!

Yesterday was Groundhog day (yay). But here in France we celebrated Candlemas. And it was all about crepes, crepes and crepes ?

Unfortunately (for you), we already ate them all. But hey, we’re already kind enough to share our little homemade recipe with you – not even a thank you!

Anyway, without further ado, here are the ingredients you need.

All good? On to the recipe!

Genymobile’s French crepes in 10 easy steps

Crepes being cooked

First things first: yes, there’s a difference between crepes and pancakes. So if you were going for pancakes, sorry but you landed at the wrong place…

Alright, don’t leave already. This recipe can be readjusted for pancake lovers ? Just make sure to change quantities accordingly. Here we go:

  1. Stir together the 3 eggs and the 2 glasses of flour in a big bowl
  2. Remove the eggshells while grumbling out loud
  3. Pour the 4 glasses of milk and add a pinch of salt
  4. Stir until obtaining a consistent mix
  5. Stirring is boring. Ask one of your colleagues to take care of it
  6. In the mean time, crush the 200g of nougat in small pieces using a big knife
  7. Cut the 3 bananas into thin slices and dust them with cinnamon
  8. The crepe mix should be ready. Pour in a lightly-oiled pan and heat up at your convenience.
  9. Once the crepes perfectly cooked, stuff with the banana slices and dust with nougat
  10. Coat with honey and powdered sugar and drool over

That’s it ? Bon appétit!
